'Centre Wellington - Working in Concert!'

The Awards of Excellence is a celebration and recognition of Business and Community Excellence. 

It recognizes individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses in Centre Wellington for their contributions, hard work, and accomplishments throughout the preceding year. Anyone in Centre Wellington can be nominated and everyone is welcome to attend the event!

On Thursday April 24th, 2008, OLG and the C.W. Chamber of Commerce presented over 15 awards, including:

Youth Citizen of the Year - Alvin Shortt Award
 Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Sport Achievement Award
Community Award of Merit
Agricultural/Agri Business Award
Cultural/Arts Award of Merit
Environmental Excellence Award
Tourism Impact Award
Customer Service Excellence Award
Business of the Year (less than 15 employees)
Business of the Year (15 or more employees)
Business Beautification Award
Corporate Citizen of the Year Award
